Hon’ble Sir, this Vidyalaya is one of the Vidyalayas spread all over India and abroad under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan  which is an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of HRD. The principal objective of the formation of the Kendriya Vidyalaya was to cater to the educational needs of the children of the transferable Central Government employees particularly Defence Personnel.

I feel honoured in presenting the Annual Report of the vidyalaya for the session 2018-2019. This Vidyalaya was established in the year 1987 up to class VIII. Nestled in a peaceful and eco-friendly environment for a child’s upbringing, conforming to a national standard of education, the vidyalaya has been imparting quality education for inculcating among the children- moral values, patriotism, scientific vision and discipline of head and heart. Now it is functioning up to Class XII with Science and Commerce streams. The total sanctioned staff strength is 45. We have hired the services of 07   (seven) Teachers on Part Time contractual basis. I can say proudly that I have got a team of fully dedicated and devoted workers who are determined to bring qualitative change in Scholastic, as well as Co-Scholastic and Co- Curricular activities.

Total strength of the students in the Vidyalaya at present is 750.To ensure balanced and all round development of each student, co-curricular activities are organized at inter-house level. Students have been divided into four houses, namely Shivaji, Tagore, Ashoka and Raman.

We have well equipped and well-maintained computer labs having 62 computers with internet connectivity. We have two computer teachers; one permanent Post Graduate Teacher in Computer Science and an another computer instructor on contractual basis.

Under the able guidance of our experienced Work Experience Teacher and an Expert for Art & Craft, students have imbibed themselves with aesthetic and creative skills.
